Regional Executive Vice President East Region at Equitable Advisors
Matthew Foxhall currently leads theEast region for Equitable Advisors as Executive Vice President in the Jacksonville, Florida office. He joined AXA Advisors’ San Antonio, Texas office in 2004 after graduating from Furman University where he competed as a Division 1 soccer player.
Like many Financial Advisors, Matt was an overnight success five years in the making. He built a Centurion-level practice serving more than 1,500 clients. In 2009, he was promoted to Vice President and in 2013 he earned the CFP® designation and was promoted again to Senior Vice President. In that leadership role, he and his partners earned Gold President’s Trophy every year.Matt identifies his “unique ability” as inspiring others -something he has been asked to do at business conferences and for leadership teams across the country.
As EVP, Matt infuses his unique-ability to inspire into his daily activities. He staunchly believes in owning a positive mindset and leading from the front. Matt is keenly focused on empowering his people and building a culture of high expectations, hard work, and high reward.In his first year at the helm in Jacksonville, the branch finished 40th out of 40 branches in 2017. Matt accelerated his branch’s performance to 20th in 2018 and earned a spot on the President’s Trophy with a Top 10 finish in 2019.For his branch’s incredible growth, Matt earned “Rookie of the Year” for the strongest performance in the nation among new EVPs.
Matt approaches life with a “burn the boats” mentality both in and out of the office. Nowhere is this more evident than in the relentless pursuit of his “101 Lifetime Goals.” Since its creation 15 years ago, Matt’s proudest achievements include heli-skiing, owning a Tesla, qualifying for the Boston Marathon, and –officially being crossed off this year –being a Keynote Speaker at LAMP.Matt lives in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida with his wife, Amy, two daughters, and Labradoodle.
